This is what the inside of my shower looks like right now. It has become a drying rack. It's the only place I can put wet stuff and know that I won't step on it. Plus, if the paint gets everywhere, it's easier to clean the shower than anything else, right?
I've been playing around with the beta version of ACDSee for Mac (you can download it for free). And I'm pretty impressed. There are a lot more whistles and bells they need to add (and are planning on adding), but it's an easy way to sort my digital tools. Having had terrible experiences now with both Shoebox and Adobe Bridge, I'm psyched about this program. I think it might finally be the solution to my digital problems! Which would be awesome, since I've been living uncategorized for the last year or so and it makes it impossible to find anything!
Finally, I got a haircut and I'm not sure about the results.
That's code for, "I don't like it, but I'm trying to make myself feel better since I have to walk around like this."

It's very 1980s. It's koolaid red. I have *bangs* which I've never had in my life. I'm trying to get used to it. But I'm afraid that I might have a very expensive mullet. A curly mullet. Lots and lots of layers. My Mother said it looks like "Little Orphan Annie, the Yeti version." My husband just started laughing when he saw me. Neither is a good reaction.
Both the photos above were taken at the salon in the bathroom mirror. And here's how I look today with my own styling of it:
Part of the problem is the dye job. They dyed the tips and so the center of my head just looks dark and weird. I don't know. What do you think? A month wearing a hat? Or am I overreacting?

I do like your styling of it better and I think it is cute! It suits your natural curls very well. Also, red fades pretty quickly and after a couple of washings it won’t be as dark, if that bothers you.

hmm.. I like it! The color is great, but maybe you could ask them to add a bit more on the top – so the change is less severe? (but I agree, it will probably fade a bit).

Julie, you would look cute with a bald head. But I love the cut, and I LOVE the red, just have them make it all the same color, and then put some of the darker back in as highlights, or lowlights I guess. But keep it red it is really sexy and sassy.
