Eight months! Wow.
I’ve worked in my art journal nearly every day in August thanks to your challenge. I’ve been sick and it’s been a great comfort to me.
So far I’ve mostly made backgrounds instead of finished pages but it’s been awesome.

I discovered art journaling a month or two ago when I was looking for inspiration to start using the insane amounts of art supplies I’ve been hoarding for so long. I’ve always wanted to do artsy stuff every day but I’m not familiar with the materials and end up feeling intimidated instead. Art journal seems like the ideal place to start, sign me up!
I also wanted to thank you for your daily posts, it’s only after reading daily for a month or two that I see this as a doable thing. Your schedule is busier than mine yet you have time to have fun with your art journal. That’s a big source of inspiration and encouragement. Thank you.

Yay for everyone still going strong with AJED! I’m not getting at it every.single.day. but MOST – so I’m very happy with that! I’ve been playing back and forth between a couple of styles, and playing with watercolours more than I ever thought I would. Thanks for the regular ‘kick in the pants’ to just TRY.

I played creatively last night, took the picture & can’t figure out how to get the picture out of my phone and onto flikr so no pic today 🙁 I’m techie challenged and haven’t used the camera feature before so I’ll get out my instruction book tonight/tomorrow and get this all figured out. Loving what I see already!
I do have a question, am I to post a daily pic to my flikr acct or to the special group you’ve set up for this? I’ve read the links provided and I’m still not sure. Thanks for your help with this.

I had to let you know I’ll add your image to my blog the next time, if not before, I submit again. I can’t get to it right now,so I hope you don’t mind me taking part now. I am looking so forward to this month, my art journal will hopefully be getting daily attention once more. My children are back to school and both are now full days which is exciting but also a little concerning – where does the time go! Now, I will also be going back to school, online and at home so no commuting but I am know this will take up lots of time. My goal is to art journal daily for the stress relief and therapy I get from these lovely sessions.
I am looking so forward to this month, my art journal will hopefully be getting daily attention once more. My children are back to school and both are now full days which is exciting but also a little concerning – where does the time go!
