Julie Fei-Fan Balzer
Based outside of Boston, Julie Fei-Fan Balzer is a painter, printmaker, and collage artist who constructs vibrant compositions. Her artwork investigates the interplay of identity and perception, inviting viewers to take a longer look. Julie works in layers, both physically and metaphorically, exploring what is visible and what is concealed. Passionate about connecting with and inspiring other artists, she shares her expertise through in-person workshops and her online classroom at MyArtPractice.com. Julie's achievements include high-profile clients, multiple publications - including her book, “Carve Stamp Play” - and exhibits in New York City and throughout Massachusetts. She is a graduate of Brown University.

Love your colourful world! My friend Carole and I try hard each week to meet, usually after the school day is done, and get our art on! We do whatever moves us — sometimes we’re doing the same thing and sometimes we go in our own direction. Our kids hang out and have fun and we do the same. I’ve returned to Stamp Carving 101 and your Getting Started series, so I have a line up of projects and techniques to choose from. Wonderful post!I really enjoyed a peek into your colorful, artistic world. I like it as much as I do your photos of NYC in your daily life. Spring is blooming in Seattle and the sun just has to pop out for the guys to be shirtless.I’m recovering from a fantastic visit from my 5 favorite Dutch relatives. The Dutch Invasion. As soon as I get a clue to a good hotel to stay in NYC, I’m planning a visit to explore the original Dutch part of the city. And a few museums, of course. And maybe a bit of shopping…lol.

Dog wood trees are coming into bloom. April school vacation for James. Went to the Southwick’s Zoo in Mendon MA today and got a monkey angry at me.
