After making the ornaments for the "12 Artsy Ornaments of Christmas" class, I had some leftover pieces of painted grungepaper.
Grungepaper is pretty flexible stuff, so I decided to see if I could turn it into an envelope-style clutch. It didn't love being stitched and folded, but I found a way to make it work.
As you can see, I colored the velcro I used for the closure so that it wasn't the super harsh white. The devil is in the details, as they say.
I *love* my new clutch and I'm thrilled that I didn't have to waste that pretty painted grungepaper. I can't wait for a holiday party so that I can carry my new fancy clutch!
