After teaching at Bizzy B this past weekend (photos to come soon), store owner Barb and I sat down to decorate some pumpkins for the store.
I grabbed some Gelli Prints on Deli Paper I made while teaching class that day and started collaging.
It looked pretty cool…
…but it needed something to give it some punch.
Black paint to the rescue!
Barb also went for some black paint (and Bizzy B signature yellow, of course):

Great ideas for the pumpkins as the “traditional” was is sometimes just too much. This is safer and I love them. I have my pumpkin ready to decorate.

I zentangled a pumpkin this year. It was fun, a little hard on my paint pens, but fun. Love the gelli deli pumpkin, yet something else I can do with the deli prints I can’t stop making!

This would be a great idea for the plastic orange pumpkin buckets, too! An artsy and not so glaringly cheap and orange “candy dish” for the treats you offer the kids (or the coworkers…)
