I have a super duper cute project for you today! And it's amazingly easy to do — bonus! Watch the video for the how to:
Here's the beautiful leafy votive candle holder all lit up:
I think this may be one of my favorite ScanNCut projects that I've created. I can totally see using these as centerpieces for a wedding, a baby shower, a dinner party, or just some beautiful atmosphere. It's kind of amazing to think that this is actually a cut file for a bookmark! It's a good reminder to think outside the box and see cut files for what they could be rather than what they are!
Thanks for stopping by!

These are really pretty! I am a previous owner of two Silhouettes. They were great but my scan n cut is so much easier to use. I haven’t set up my wireless because we’ve had internet problems. Those are taken care of now I want to take the next step so I can fully enjoy the total benefits of my new machine. You are a fantastic spokesperson for this product. Thanks for all of your instruction and inspiration.

Hi there Julie,
That is an awesome tutorial. It is a keeper.I will definitely be trying this out. I love the idea of adding in the tab and using the perforated lines to fold it out.
Don’t you just love making candle holders with your scan n cut2. It reminds me of this past Halloween when I made a pumpkin candle holder using the pumpkin design found in the scan n cut cm550DX.
I used orange glitter paper and it came out very nice. I just used my scan n cut to weld the pieces together.
The only problem that I had was that my paper was only 8.5 x 11.5. I could only get three and had to cut a fourth separately or else make the design smaller.
I choose to leave it at the size it was and just cut the fourth separately and glue it on.
It all did work out very well and is still intact to this day and ready for next year.
This design as a bookmark is lovely. Bookmarks are on my list of things to make with my scan n cut.
Love watching this video. Tt seems that the scan n cut daily emails are the only ones I get with pictures and places to click on.
All the recently past emails have been just writing and no pictures of you and your collage. Just your site addy to click on. I hope I do continue to get the emails as I received this one.
Thank you again for all your knowledge and fun crafting ideas.

HI Julie,
Just to update you. I made the leafy votive candle holder.
It did take me tree times to do it but I finally got it done.
I had a few problems with the welding and the perforated lines.
I did finally get it all together and saved in my scan n cut file.
Thank you for sharing this with us and love all that you do.

For Marsha Nelson Carr,
The cm350R comes with the rhinestone kit depending on where you buy it.CM350H comes with the activation card if you buy from HSN. It will be a little bit more money,
The difference between the 350 and the CM650W is the 350 has 631 designs and the 650 has 1,102 the 650 comes with the activation card. It can also scan with the 12×24 mat.
The 350 cannot. The 650 also works with PES files Brother embroidery machine. It can go wireless as the 350 and can also be hooked up to the computer with a usb cord. Plus with the CM650w you get all the accessories. A 550. dollar value.
