What a wonderful group of artists I welcomed into my home for July's Tunnel Book Class! Seriously, a great group of creative souls open to creativity and all the possibilities of making art.
Take a peek at the fun we had and what we made:
These were the two sample books I brought with me:
The first half of class was dedicated to creating personal illustrations.
And then we got to book building!!
I was so impressed with each and every personally illustrated Tunnel Book! Aren't you?!
Also, I had to laugh: After class, my assistant, Suzanne, told me that she wasn't particularly excited about class. Figured it wasn't really "her thing." But then she ended up having fun and learning a lot and changing her mind about the project! I thought that was a pretty good endorsement of the class. ;)
