CarveDEcPrompts-1000
I love all the creativity that #CarveDecember seems to bring out in people.  I always like to share the different takes on the same prompt.  It's amazing how people's brains work! Here is a curated look at what I carved, along with a few personal favorites from other talented artists.  (If you think you're not a prompt person, my Carve December Workbook class will change your mind forever.)

DAY 13: thoughtful

 DAY 14: baroque

 DAY 15: soft

DAY 16: plaid

DAY 17: intricate

DAY 18: clear

Finally, I wanted to share these three off-prompt posts that contain really good ideas you might be interested in trying.

ONE: I like how Heidi combined her hand carved stamps with a commercial wood mounted stamp in this print. Best of both worlds!

TWO: I really love how Karin created a larger design using all of her hand carved stamps. I especially love the dangles at the bottom!

THREE: I love Laura's idea of stamping her stamps in her grid journal.

Remember: It's never too late to jump in and join the #CarveDecember fun.  If you carve just one stamp this month = hooray!!

Thanks for stopping by!

  • This is actually a comment on the “story” you posted on Facebook today, about strata. Best I ever made was a “Reuben” strata, with rye bread, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and corned beef. Yum!
