Here are a few things I made inspired by the book:
As I mentioned in the livestream, I've just chosen the 2022 dates for Design Boot Camp — both level 1 and level 2. You can check both out HERE.
In November – in preparation for #CarveDecember – we will be discussing the book I wrote, Carve Stamp Play, on Wednesday, November 10 at 12:15pm. It has been out for TEN years! Hard to believe.

Really enjoyed this book review. I don’t even do much abstract work but this has given me a better understanding and appreciation of it, and I especially like how you highlight ideas that I can take away and apply to my own work, regardless of the medium. But anyway the info and conversation and your observations alongside the samples and notebook images you create as you get ideas from the book being reviewed are really awesome, Julie. I thought your mom was just being, ya know, your “mom”…..but she’s really got a keen sense of observation and is dead on about these book review sessions: they are worth their weight in gold. So glad you’ve started them but gawd girl when do you find the time to do everything!!!
