Hello, friends! Before I launch into today's post, there are two things I need to mention:

Enrollment for Creative Jumpstart begins today!  This is my TENTH year teaching a lesson for this annual online class.

The early bird price is just $49 (regularly $89).  If you sign up using THIS LINK, I will get a small percentage of the sale.  Thank you in advance!  Watch the video to learn more:

In my lesson I'm using ink pads on a gelatin plate and cutting my own stencil and mask shapes in order to tell a personal story. You'll have to check out the class to find out more!

Secondly, #CarveDecember and the #CarveDecemberClass begin tomorrow!

I hope you'll join in on all the fun! It's never too late to start!

And now, here's a little bit about life around here right now:

What are you working on?

Mega Project Life catch-up.

ProjectLife
I still love memory keeping but I have fallen behind.  So, I'm doing my best to catch up with the few months.

What are you loving?

We have been watching The Mandalorian and I'm really enjoying it.  It's worth noting that I'm not a Star Wars person.  I think I've seen 2 of the Star Wars movies?  And yet, I really like The Mandalorian.  It's funny and takes place in a dystopian reality that I find intriguing.  Plus, with a crazy budget, it feels like watching a movie even though the episodes are usually less than 40 minutes.

How is the baby?

He turned one this month!

Playground-wm
I guess I have to stop calling him a baby.  He's officially a toddler now.  I keep telling Steve that our son is a super computer.  He's taking in so much data in every interaction and he seems to learn new skills overnight!  It's magical.  (And puts my own learning skills to shame!)

Current art crush?

I am crushing on the art journal/sketchbook pages of melodymiroir.  Take a peek:

Her work has such beautifully organized chaos.  I want to stare at her pages and really think about the choices behind them.

So, there you have it!  That's the scoop on life around here at the moment.  If you're a Basic Member, November's personal vlog is in online classroom and if you're a Maker or Super Learner Member, November's studio vlog is in the online classroom!  The links for December's livestream and critique group will be posted in the classroom on December 1.

Thanks for stopping by!
