Good Morning Julie,
Very cute cupcake wrapper. I love how you did the lettering. Very nice indeed. I am working on a couple of blank candles. I use the stencil designs found in the Brother Scan N Cut stencil file.
I used the Rose and the ivy vine. I left the rose the actual size. I then placed it on top of the basic shape square, grouped it together and made a frame for it to use as a base to tape on to the candle.
I cut it all out with my scan n cut. I then used acrylic paints to color in the rose. I used red, purple orange and blue. I stenciled back and front of two different candles.
I let them dry and proceeded with the ivy leaf vine. I reduced the vine down to fit my placement on the top front of the candle. I also used the basic shape rectangle. I placed the ivy stencil on top of the rectangle, grouped it together to use as a frame to tape on to my candle. I then stenciled it on with acrylic paint.
So far so good. I let each area dry. I then go back and do the next step.I do this so that I do not smear any of the colors. What is nice about using the acrylic paints is if you do not like the way it looks you can remove the design by wiping with a baby wipe. I had one candle with a pink rose and did not like it. I did leave it on for a couple of days and it did dry.
I wiped it off and had a clean area to work with again. I then choose the color orange for that rose. Just have to finish up my green ivy vines and the candles are ready to use.
One day I will make my own candles and my own design and do this again.
Have a great day and thanks for sharing the cupcake wrappers.
