If you're new to Art Journal Every Day, there is a short introduction here.  All of the previous posts can be found archived here.  Remember, it's just ten minutes of nourishing your creative self every day!  No need to finish anything or even like it. If you've done some art journaling this week, use the hashtag #artjournaleveryday so that we can all take a peek.  Even if you're not on social media, you can see everything (from twitter, pinterest, instagram, and facebook) that uses that hashtag here.

I'm super behind in sharing my daily art journal pages, but I think it has given me some perspective.  I can see trends, the kind of shapes and colors I was interested in at the time, and even the inspiration for products that I've designed.  Take a peek for yourself:

The "u" design looks an awful lot like my croquet stamp, doesn't it?!

I've been gold pen obsessed for a while.  I think I added a dash of gold to almost every single page in this journal.

Did you notice the hole in this page?

I didn't cut the hole.  It was created from the way I frankensteined the page together when I built the journal from bits and pieces.  Almost all of my journal pages are created in this frankenstein way, but I usually do a better job of lining things up so there aren't holes.  I suppose I could have covered it up, but I like to have pages that aren't standard.  (Learn to make your own Junque Journal)
