Make It Artsy

Make It Artsy Projects-in-Process

For the past few weeks I have been hard at work on some awesome projects for the upcoming season of Make It Artsy TV.

Currently, you can view the show on some PBS stations, online, or by purchasing the season DVDs (only $39.99 for four discs of crafty arty awesome instruction).  And, I have been told that it will be carried on the CREATE Network beginning this Fall.  Yay!

Here is a segment from season 2 of Make It Artsy:

Watch more segments from the show HERE.

And here's a sneak peek at some projects for season three in progress:

I'm working on a massive partyscape packed with handmade goodies and hand patterned papers:

I've got Suzanne slaving away, painting on aprons:

There's screen printed fabric:

And so much more!

I'm really excited for the shoot (starts today) for season 3.  I'll be posting pics on instagram and facebook and I'll share a wrap-up of the shoot here on the blog next week!  Wish me luck!

Thanks for stopping by!

  • Hi Julie,
Loved these videos will be watching when they are aired. I will also be saving this blog post.
Congratulations being carried on the Create Network.
I loved the foiling this is something the scan n cutters have been waiting for. Fantastic your demonstration. I loved it.
I loved all the craft projects that everyone did. The baby jars, and beads and Joe’s Book. I love how he used the fold to the outside. I loved the Koi fish oh my goodness beautiful.
Foiling can you use any laminator? Parchment paper did you purchase as a folded piece or can you buy the roll and iron it out and fold the parchment into a folder?
I know if one has a laser printer they can print out their own toner paper. I do not have one. What product did you use for the toner paper. I see it on Amazon but a bit pricy.
Can one do all the foil projects including the Hello paper one with an iron instead of laminator and toner paper?
Your videos of Make it Artsy is all inspiring.
I know Brother is coming out with a foil kit and using glue to adhere the foil with it. I really love what you did with all the videos and can not wait to see the show.
    Happy Tuesday,
    Fawna
