The folks at Graphic Stock asked me to put together a video sharing how their images might be used for crafting.
GraphicStock has over 300,000 royalty-free images that can be used for all kinds of craft and art projects. In the video below I share three ideas:
ONE: Using patterns and labels for Project Life or pocket scrapbooking…
TWO: Transforming .jpgs to .fcm cutting files for your ScanNCut…
I think the leftover silhouette from the cut out would make a great stencil!
THREE: Using Adobe Illustrator to transform an illustration into a totally unique Christmas wreath cut out of paper….
Watch the video for more on all of these ideas:
This video was sponsored by GraphicStock
FOR YOU: Go to http://graphicstock.com/JuliieFeiFan_0816 to get your exclusive 7-day free trial to GraphicStock!
As you can surmise from the video, you can also easily create stencils, stamps, t-shirt designs, and so much more from all of these 100% royalty free images. They're even okay for commercial work! I'm excited by the possibilities, aren't you?
Thanks for stopping by!

It so hard to find good, clear, clean images to use when you just want a basic outline or stock photo. This opens many doors for me. Thank you for sharing an important aspect of creating art, once again!

Thanks Julie for this :.) I use vector files for embroidery. I also use Jpgs. I love what you did with the duck. I saw that duck some place used as cut file maybe scan n cut facebook not sure.Thank you for showing us how to work it with canvas and cut it out.
The wreath is fabulous. As hard as I might try I never can really get a good handle on adobe illustrator or photo shop. I end up going into windows paint instead.
These ideas for the scan n cut are fabulous. I will be trying something out with this. I will try the seven day trial and see what I can pull up before it ends.
Thanks again for sharing I would be lost with out you my friend.

Thank you, Julie. I love what you did with combining images and files in one 4×6 canvas for PL. Great idea. I love the images they have, but for a casual crafter, $99 a year is a bit pricey. I could buy a lot of acrylic mediums and other supplies for that. Still, thanks for sharing – as always, your videos are full of great ideas.

First and foremost, I love your nails!!! I noticed them in your Riv/Jane Austin post but didn’t know who owned the fingers. I see now that you do! As for graphic stock, what a great site for all the techniques you demonstrated and so many more!

The wreath was beautiful. I’m guessing one could use PSE to get the same results?
GraphicStock is a great idea, however, I also am not able to sign up at this time.
