  • Julie, I am so glad you are talking about people “copying” a style, and who actually owns the particular way to do something. This is such a hard thing to understand. Take for instance flowers, like a daisy. How many different ways can you draw a daisy? And who first drew the daisy? thanks for your comments. Welcome back to the USA.

  • I could listen to this podcast over and over, and I have, twice! Mom is like me, she loves her thesaurus! Eileen, “awesome” is the word I like to replace. Overused words do lose their true meaning and reflection. Great fun, you two!

  • I really enjoy your podcasts! You and your mother always bring a smile to me. You are too funny. It is great to hear about your travels, reactions with people, teaching, and art and theater also. This whole copying and copyright thing is so confusing. I think you must have to have a tremendous amount of energy and diversity to make a living in Art and that is why you have had such success. You got me be into creating from both tv and following you years ago. Thank you. I imagine you don’t even know all the good you have contributed. I had a very serious illness back in 2004 and your influence, family, and friends kept me going. The art was there 24/7 when I needed to occupy my mind. I am very grateful for that. Never doubt yourself.
