I spent a few days in NYC in March and you know I *had* to stop by MoMA (the Museum of Modern Art) for a visit.  Here's what I saw:

Whenever I go to a museum I always come away with some inspiration for my own work.  It's usually not a straight line — meaning I see a building and I draw a building.  But I know that the techniques, the colors, the textures, the scale — it all seeps into the cracks in my brain and permeates my consciousness.  By the time I get home and into the studio, I'm filled with excitement!

Thanks for stopping by!

  • It is always a great inspiration to me to see photos from the exhibits in the cities & galleries that you visit! I agree about the influences seeping into the subconscious.
