If you're new to Art Journal Every Day, there is a short introduction here.  All of the previous posts can be found archived here.  Remember, it's just ten minutes of nourishing your creative self every day!  No need to finish anything or even like it. If you've done some art journaling this week, use the hashtag #artjournaleveryday so that we can all take a peek.  Even if you're not on social media, you can see everything (from twitter, pinterest, instagram, and facebook) that uses that hashtag here.

Let's take a peek at some pages from January.  You'll see that there's a very large gap of days at the beginning of the month.  I was out of town and didn't bring my art journal with me.  And, like I've said before, that's okay.  For me, the point of "Art Journal Every Day" is to remind myself that it's important to make art every day for fun.  To make art that has no purpose other than experimentation and play.  If "keeping up" in my journal starts to feel like work, then it's just not worth it to me.  I believe that art journaling has a place in every creative person's life.  You simply have to figure out how to make it work for you!  Okay, lecture over.  ;)  Let's get to the journal pages!
