If you're new to Art Journal Every Day, there is a short introduction here.  All of the previous posts can be found archived here.  Remember, it's just ten minutes of nourishing your creative self every day!  No need to finish anything or even like it. If you've done some art journaling this week, use the hashtag #artjournaleveryday so that we can all take a peek.  Even if you're not on social media, you can see everything (from twitter, pinterest, instagram, and facebook) that uses that hashtag here.

I've got more daily pages for you today!  Yay!  These were created at the end of November 2015.  It was a time period in which I was really struggling with being creative.  I hated everything that I was making and I just felt really overwhelmed with the move to Boston and the work that was piling up around me.  I can see that struggle in these pages. I wonder if you can too?

This big face is a piece that I reworked.  It felt flat, so I added all the stamping.  It really helped to spark it up!

  • Did you make that gorgeous, colorful doodle using the gelly roll moonlight pens? Thanks for being so honest and sharing. Not everything we make is lovely. Having said that, I love the rawness of your journal pages and there are so many lovely parts of creativitiy!
Please do tell how you made that beautiful and colorful shapes around the man with :”get control”. I saw a hint of it the other day in your share and now the full bloom. BEAUTIFUL!

  • The top face (red and white) is one of my favorite faces that you have created. You may have been stressed when making these pages but they “speak” to me. Maybe because I’ve been stressed lately. ~:o)
