When I was thinking about Valentine's Day gifts, I started to think about personalization. What is a simple gift that you can give someone to make them feel special? I came up with the idea of etched glasses — such an easy way to personalize a gift! (And perfect for giving to someone you love — like a parent or friend or child — without being romantic.)
Last night I did a quick Periscope video showing how to etch glasses for your sweetie. You can view it until 8pm EST tonight. If it's after that time or you're looking for written directions, check out this blog post of mine from 2014. This is the glass I created in last night's video:
It's a combination of my handwriting and a font. I cut the vinyl on the ScanNCut, but as I demonstrated in the Periscope video, it's easy enough to cut it by hand instead. I hope you'll give it a try!

I used red ink as you suggest and made my own paper design with the heart stamp. Then I used a negative cut out and used water color paints and did another paper in multi-color hearts.
I loved watching your video on Periscope.I just wish I knew when it would be live to comment and follow along as you are doing your projects.
Something has changed in my daily emails from you I know longer get any pictures to view it is all written words, Not at all like I was getting. I am not sure if it is html or plain text. I did sign up for your monthly new letter too and that is when the daily email writing changed on me. Is there a way I can get this fix. It is most annoying.
