Art journaling can be defined in so many ways. Personally, I'm a fan of defining it as broadly as possible. My definition is: any art done in a book that reflects you at that moment you created it. There are lots of styles of art journaling: lots of text, no text, drawings, photos, doodles, intensely filled pages, lots of white space, painted, inked, collaged, etc. I work on many journals at the same time. Over the next few weeks I'm going to be sharing some work from my non-every day journal. I hope you'll enjoy the change of pace.
First up, I've been doing my #28patterns in an art journal. Yesterday I decided to videotape the process of the pattern coming together. I've speeded things up to just over 3 minutes with some voice-over narration.
