Is everybody in turkey coma? Or are you in shopping frenzy for Black Friday? Personally, I'm planning to spend the day eating some leftovers, hanging out with my family, and doing some crafting. In case you're thinking of doing some art journaling, I wanted to share a few of the beautiful pages that Melita created in my online Junque Journal classes — "Make Your Own Junque Journal" and "30 Days in Your Junque Journal."

My favorite all time product has to be jelli pens – I can start a project with them, I can add to a project, or I can add final touches, but bless Sakura for I have a mega kit with regular, moonlight, souffle, etc. So it often times is hard to end a project…just let me add one more thing! 🙂

I paint and do “art journaling” with my 21 month old son, so Lil Paint pod paints are my favorite. There’s so much better than the generic paints targeted to the kids art supply market, eg. we’ve been pretty disappointed with the Cra-Z-Art brand paints.

I am really into making polymer clay tiles lately and making mosaics with them, and I’ve discovered the great fun of rubbing different colors of gilder’s paste onto stamped clay tiles. I cannot get enough of my Renoir Ezy Carve. It is so easy to carve stamps with, is really affordable, and results in a nice sturdy stamp. Must get more to keep up with Carve December!

My favorite art supply is the one I am using at the moment. It is almost like asking me my favorite color. Embroidery floss is my favorite supply as that is how I am adding texture and color to the piece I am working on.

I’ve been doing a Mandala-a-day. Yesterday I painted a mandala that incorporated all the food and drink from Thanksgiving dinner – fun and relaxing to do! Hope I win! 🙂

Right now I am loving acrylic paints and various mediums. I am on a kick with creating acrylic skins. I have learned while they don’t take well to punches they can be cut wonderfully with thinlit dies.

So hard to pick one art favorite. I love my collection of random design stamps and quotes I call my art journaling stamps. Swirls, doodled trees and houses, and splats. Try to use them in unusual ways
