Art Journal Every Day: February Begins!

ArtJournalEveryDayLogo-150If you're new to Art Journal Every Day, there is a short introduction here.  All of the previous posts can be found archived here.  There is a flickr group for sharing right here.  Remember, it's just ten minutes of nourishing your creative self every day!  No need to finish anything or even like it.  If you've done some art journaling this week and you've blogged about it, or put it on flickr, please leave a link in the linky list at the end of this post.  Thanks!

I've got some daily pages to share with you today.  I'm about three-quarters of the way through this current journal and I'm already dreaming of putting together the next one.  The good news for you is that as soon as I'm ready to put it together, I'll also be ready to put together an online class about making your own junque journal!  Something to look forward to in the next few months!  And now without any further ado…

Odd as it may sound, this is the face I drew after seeing the Chagall exibit.  I don't think I can articulate why this is what came out of me, but this is what did!

Lots of stamping with hand carved stamps!

I incorporated several short pages into this journal and I really enjoy them.  I'm definitely going to do more of that in the next journal I make!

On a dark background, I really like how glitter embossing powder makes the date stand out!

I inserted a postcard as a little flippy divider page.

Leftover little tags become a makeshift heart!  Love it!

Thanks for stopping by!

P.S. HSN changed my air times for Monday!  I'm now scheduled for 1am, 7am, and still at 11pm.  Thanks!
