I realize that Christmas is over, but I wanted to share a few cards that I made at the last minute.

The backgrounds for all six cards were created with two pieces of black cardstock.  I used white spray paint through a (**new**) Balzer Designs stencil and then while the paint was still wet, I pressed it to a clean sheet of black cardstock to get the reverse print.  The snowflakes are the ones I used as masks when I created my Sprayed Snowflake Christmas Cards, which I shared last week.  The stamp is the same hand carved sentiment that I used before.  I tried out two different embossing powders.  Neither one really gave me the detail I was looking for.  So, I'll keep trying!

I had fun playing with the same few elements and trying to see how many interesting compositions I could create.  Sort of like working in a series on a very small scale!

Thanks for stopping by!

P.S. Lots of stencil peeks are coming your way!  I hope you're as excited as I am!
