As promised, I'm here today to tell you a little bit more about the "12 Artsy Ornaments of Christmas" online class that I'm part of!
Each of the twelve teachers (me, Jenny Doh, Maggie Holmes, Margie Romney-Aslett, Jeanne Oliver, Teresa Collins, Junelle Jacobson, Tamara Laporte, Alisa Burke, Chrissy Gardner, Amy Tan, and Christy Tomlinson) is sharing a video tutorial for holiday projects for decorating your home and tree, or wonderful gifts you can give! Each day, for five days, you will get 3 new project/ornaments/home decor/gift giving projects by 3 different artist teachers! Once class begins you will have an entire year to access the workshop, including videos, PDF's, and supply lists.

I'm going to be sharing some of my favorite techniques for layering, stenciling, and gelli printing! I think it's going to be a lot of fun and I hope you'll join me!

These would look beautiful against a dark green holiday tree, or scattered around the house to remind us all of the holiday spirit. My daughter is 29. When she was 13 or so, we made white plaster ornaments using small tart tins from a Martha Stewart article. I would love to recreate that experience with her this year. Besides, the course has Julie, Jenny and Alisa, three of my favorite artist teachers in one place.

What interests me most? Pushing myself as an artist to grow by trying new materials and techniques…and sharing that with my daughters. This last year we’ve had a fresh start and have moved to a new city and this would be the perfect way to begin some new traditions!
