Art Journaling Live was a super fun experience! I taught alongside Traci Bautista, Pam Carriker, Dina Wakley and a team of great folks from Interweave: Nick & Garret from the video team and Cloth Paper Scissors editors Jenn & Paige.
One of my favorite parts of the event was that we teachers got to take the other teachers' classes!
We sat at a table in the back of the room and learned alongside the other students.
It was awesome!
My other favorite thing was getting to meet (and see again) loads of creative ladies.
It's such a surreal and wonderful experience for me when people tell me that they read my blog and share the projects they've made using my stencils. It makes me supremely happy!
The day of art journaling was kicked off by Pam. I'm always impressed with how differently everyone interprets the assignment.
One of those pages is mine. I'll bet you can guess which one! ;)
Dina was next up.
The last two images are what I created in class. In the last one, I think you can really see Dina's style on the left and mine on the right.
I taught right after lunch.
Traci taught the final class.
And we wrapped up the event with a book and DVD signing.
It was super fun to get to sign DVDs. It made me feel like a rock star!
I had a great time in North Carolina and ate some really yummy food (always a bonus). There's nothing like getting to make art all day long!
