This is the 4 Feathers stencil:
The name is a little misleading. There are four feathers, but it's also two feathers, in layers. You can use the feathers layered up:
Or by themselves:
Both of those examples use the 4 Feathers stencil in 6×6. The two projects in the video use the 12×12 version and the Copic Airbrush System:

Don't forget that you can flip the feathers over to get them going the other way. Stencils are reversible after all!

It has been a while since I used stencils since I tend not to remember to use them because I don’t have them visually available, so have been working on a system to become aware of my stencils. These feathers would do the trick in motivation as I can think of so many ways to use them with paints and heavy gesso.

I’ve just come in from my painting shed and was using stencils to alter a book cover after gessoing it, using spray inks. So much fun! Used a variety of stencils and one of them was yours. The new ones are still hard to find here in the U.K. but I’m looking out for them!

I have never used a stencil from before but i maked them my self. The last time i used a simple postcard wich had a paterned cover. I seperated it and used that as a stencil and it worked great. I also used your tutorial of cutting your own stencil and that also worked fine. But it would be realy great to win this awesome stencil.

I used a brick stencil and modeling paste on an 8 x 8 scrapbook page of my sister’s garden. The picture showed the wisteria hanging on her garage. I colored the bricks to match those in the picture. I was quite proud of the effect. I love all your stencils.

I last used stencils on a canvas piece where I took the wrapping papers and napkins for the birthday party we had for my boss. I layered them, added stencils designs with my dylusions inks, added a few jewels and now have a nice sample to hang in the art department at the shop where I work.

Being new to art journaling I tend to prowl thru the hubby’s garage looking for likely items to use, somehow, in my journal. I found a square plastic grating that I sprayed colors thru. I just made a layout using a heart stencil with molding paste on a chalkboard paper…. I love how the molding paste looked like chalk on the paper. I cannot get enough stencils and I have been coveting the 4 feathers since I first saw the peek here.

The last thing I created with a stencil was a journal page for lifebook 2013. I’ve also learned how to make my own stencils when I need them. I would love to have these feathers. They are beautiful.

These are so gogeous! The last time I used stencils happens to be your Circle Regimen with PanPastels in my journal. I like the combination of the clean geometrical shape with the softer look of the Panpastels. I am tempted to try the copic airbrush… if only I wasn’t so broke!

I’m working on a box and decided to use stencils with molding paste now can’t wait to use some spray inks to add some color. It’s the first time I’ve used them in this way. The box will be a gift for a friend’s birthday with a card to match.

I use a stencil almost every time I work in my art journal. I especially like to use modeling paste with a stencil to add some dimension.

Am lovin this feather stencil page. Will be ordering soon. I love stencils on just about anything. Recently I have been making some seasonal tags. Have had fun using leaf stencils and stamps on the jelli plate for prints and then using those and the stencils again on the tags. Love these with yarn and beads to hang from.

I was up to my ears in paint and sprays just last Sunday. I like to buy stencils and make them too. The ones I made from magazine images from your tutorial are awesome – so are the ones you made from hot glue!

I couldn’t give you the exact date I last did that, but I love to use stencils on the handmade books’ covers for extra texture without a lot of bulk. The last time I used a stencil was a couple of days ago – I sprayed water through bird stencils and added watercolor to the water shapes. Love Stencils! And I love feathers too, so would be thrilled to have the feather stencils.

I scrapbook my grandson so I do lots of boy embellishments and colors so I like to get in my girlie stuff once in a while and your peacock feather works well for him and makes me happy also. I’ve been trying not to buy so much stuff but I make exceptions for stencils because they are so versatile. thanks for the blog I read it every day. ruth

i just completed a mini wood album for a co-workers parents 50th wedding anniversary. My first attempt and it turned out nicely. The stencils and the spray ink was great and a big hit with the parents too.!!!

I just bought and used 2 of yours (chevron & honeycomb(I made these names up because I couldn’t find stencil name anywhere on package?!?)) and i cut out cream colored canvas chubby rectangles to make a fall/Halloween garland! I sponge painted purple, orange & green using the stencils for the design:-) I painted the mini clothespins purple and then I will hand them with bakers twine:-)

I just bought and used 2 of yours (chevron & honeycomb(I made these names up because I couldn’t find stencil name anywhere on package?!?)) and i cut out cream colored canvas chubby rectangles to make a fall/Halloween garland! I sponge painted purple, orange & green using the stencils for the design:-) I painted the mini clothespins purple and then I will hand them with bakers twine:-)
