I've got more photos to share today from the CREATE Retreat in New Jersey! Today I'm sharing some photos from my "Stamped & Stenciled Pocket Book" class. I've taught this class before, but something that made it especially fun this time, was that I had all of my new Balzer Designs stencils with me and I got to see the students using them! I really get a thrill seeing the stencils in use. Other people see them and use them so differently than I do! Take a peek at all of the messy fun we had:

I was just on scrapbook.com last night and saw many of these stencils for sale for the first time. I love so many of them! Having trouble deciding which 3 or 4 I am going to buy first. So many possibilities… Thanks for sharing the inspiration.

Oh it looks like an awesome time. Julie, would you let me know what your teaching plans for 2014 (as in the Ink Pad) look like? I have family in Haverstraw and Garnerville and would have to save up. I wouldn’t have to worry about hotel, just getting there, lol.

I need a refresher — have been having a GREAT time creating more of the books in lots of sizes, colors and styles (poor friends and family — they recieve them as gifts). I don’t have the original for the measurements any longer and now every one comes out a bit differently (not necessarily bad, but). So you know I took the class at Right at Home in North Attleboro earlier this year or end of last? Would you provide me the measurements again please? Thanks so much. I’ve used more of the techniques, insights and methods from you in your classes (other was at Absolutely Everything, altered book journals) than most other classes combined. You are a wonderful teacher and I’m looking forward to the next!
