Watercolored Dimensional Paper Cut Cards

So I decided to take my dimensional paper cut cards one step further.  (One should always take an artful exercise one step further, don't you think?)

I added color…

  • Although the colored one is awesome, there is something abut the white that catches my eye more, funny.

  • I’d have a hard time giving these away too Julie. They are gorgeous!! I’d probably give them to either my husband or my mom. I’d have to put it away after I gave it to my hubby, as he has a tendency to toss things like cards after the occasion. I know my mom would save it, and if she knew I had made it, she’d probably carry it around and show it to everyone!

  • These are STUNNING Julie. I see these selling like hotcakes at a high end stationary store like Paper Source. Not sure how their corporate buying process works but I’m pretty sure the cards would need a third party production contract since PS also makes it’s own cards. I spot Brooklyn made cards in PS racks all the time so maybe it’s just a matter of finding local producers. Sorry to get all unsolicited advice on you- these are just that gorgeous.
also thank you for you post on google reader- I’ve been searching for an easier following reader as well and I’m checking out the one you recommended today.

  • These are really pretty and I like your choice of colours.
My crafted is making handmade jewellery and I can understand how it is when you have made something and do not want to give it away. I would want to keep these lovely cards as well.

  • Wow! beautiful! I so admire the ability to make pop0up art, not just because of the spatial relationship skills, but also because of the knife skills–pretty amazing.

  • Wow! absolutely beautiful, and so inspiring – I just had to have a go! After the initial disaster where everything fell of of the middle, I got it worked out! But I used tiny scissors rather than a knife. Thank you for your constant inspiration.
