Art Journal Every Day: April Dailies

ArtJournalEveryDayLogo-150If you're new to Art Journal Every Day, there is a short introduction here.  All of the previous posts can be found archived here.  There is a flickr group for sharing right here.  Remember, it's just ten minutes of nourishing your creative self every day!  No need to finish anything or even like it.  If you've done some art journaling this week and you've blogged about it, or put it on flickr, please leave a link in the linky list at the end of this post.  Thanks!

Today I'm sharing some more of my daily pages.  Lots of experiments.  And you'll note that you may have seen some of these in-progress.  I work all through my journal with images and then strictly chronologically when it comes to the text.

All of the little glued on bits on the right came out of my "junk drawer."  It's where I shove little painted bits and pieces when I'm done with them, but don't know what to do with them.

For this page I used part of a song.  The chorus was just rolling through my head over and over, so I put it down on paper.

I recently ordered some glitter embossing powder and I couldn't wait to try it out!

This is a foiling experiment that didn't go quite the way I intended, but I'm always glad to have experimented!  In fact, my art journal is my very favorite place to experiment!

Here is this week's linky list:

  • Your “dailies” have inspired a journal page of my own, so I’ve linked it up here. Now I have an “art journal dilemma” (too many art journals!). LOL Thanks for the inspiration! I feel the seeds of “face” inspiration starting to sprout too.
