Well, it's that time of year.  Time to look back and pick favorites from the year gone by.  Here are my favorite scrapbook pages from 2012:

I see a lot of white cardstock, single photos, and bold titles.  Also, a lot less patterned paper and many fewer embellishments than in years past.  Am I missing anything?  Do you see any trends in this group of layouts?

I've been scrapbooking a lot less this year thanks to Project Life.  But I still enjoy it.  I'm always looking for ways to combine innovation, telling stories, and having an arsty good time!

Tomorrow I will share my favorite tutorials from 2012!

Thanks for stopping by!

P.S. The three winners of a spot in "Getting Started with Color Mixing" are:

  • I love the picks you chose, they are all wonderful. My favorite is the all white one and just me layouts. I’m hoping to add more scrapping into 2013 since PL has been all I do now. Thanks for sharing these with us.

  • I like how different each of your LO are even though they share commonalities too. One trend I see in these LOs is paint. Either on the LO background (just me, she is my person, matthew) or on embellies (roadie, you and me babe, man plus marg.) or in your title (joyful, family bowl). Thanks. Jane

  • I can see why you chose those pages. They all have enormous visual impact, particularly where you’ve left lots of blank space.

  • For some reason I am really loving 5th one down (to be young and in love) and last one (joyful). I keep going back to look at them. Maybe because art journaling, mine and that of others, is usually so full of visual information, it’s restful to see something more minimalist every now and then.
