If you're new to Art Journal Every Day, there is a short introduction here. All of the previous posts can be found archived here. There is a flickr group for sharing right here. Remember, it's just ten minutes of nourishing your creative self every day! No need to finish anything or even like it. If you've done some art journaling this week and you've blogged about it, or put it on flickr, please leave a link in the linky list at the end of this post. Thanks!
Do you recall the journal that I made for Book Club in June? As I mentioned in a previous post, I've been loving exploring the non-blank pages. And I can't seem to get a page done without some hand carved stamps and/or a painted face. I'm going through a phase, I guess! Take a peek:
What are you currently obsessed with in your art journal?
Here's the linky list for this week:
Thanks for stopping by!
There are three things creeping into all of my pages at the moment- colourful faces, circles and (above all) stencils. I’ve never been to bothered about stencils before but suddenly I’m obsessed… I keep finding random objects around the house and office an thinking ‘Hmmmm… I could really spray some paint through that…’

Without a doubt stencils!
And you keep this alive by designing more each season.
Don’t you just love using those Cocoa Daisy cards in your art journal? Such wonderful quotes.

Love your art journal pages, Julie.
I am very into using stamps as well…love those for Project Life such as “documented” “memo” arrows-of all kinds, etc. Can’t wait to see your new stencils and stamps in stores so that I can incorporate those, too!
Would LOVE to see an update your project life pages!
The last batch was very inspiring!

Right now I’m focused on getting the backgrounds done in my journal. I’m at the last 20 pages or so. It took me over 2 1/2 years to get this far. I am always adding bits of collage items, paint and stamps to existing pages. I love that through this format nothing is ever really done. Truly a happy journey through a book that you don’t want to end. Finally, I have a title for the cover. “The Never Ending Story”

Love your fabulously filled art journal pages Julie! Currently I’m obsessed with spray inks, stencils and paint and just creating with abandon. Very freeing.

Always always obsessed with sketches, stamps, stencils and doodles. this summer I have added in packing tape transfers. My doodling isn’t representational (or accurate) enough for people to actually identify the bird I saw…so the packing tape transfers are handling that this year…Love your blog. Thanks. Lori W at Art Camp for Women
