ArtJournalEveryDayLogo-150If you're new to Art Journal Every Day, there is a short introduction here.  All of the previous posts can be found archived here.  There is a flickr group for sharing right here.  Remember, it's just ten minutes of nourishing your creative self every day!  No need to finish anything or even like it.  If you've done some art journaling this week and you've blogged about it, or put it on flickr, please leave a link in the linky list at the end of this post.  Thanks!

Do you recall the journal that I made for Book Club in June?  I've been loving exploring the non-blank pages.  It's a bit of a mental shift in art journaling for me, but I'm having a lot of fun!  Take a peek at a few pages now that they're filled:

And I even sketched in a little face on the back cover of the journal:

I've got lots more pages bursting with color, which I'll share another day.  And…I might have even made a few more journals like this just because they're too much fun!

Thanks for stopping by!

  • Your faces are so alive. Are the bold ones inside the journal from stamps that you made? I also noticed that chevron-y cool new stencil that I have to get.

  • I’ve just finished watching your All About Faces video twice and love what you do. Now I just have to work out how to be brave and paint like you. Wish I had the inspiration to journal each day. Perhaps more visits to your site [now that I’ve found you] will be the medicine i need. I will be checking out this blog hop as well. TFS

  • The July 4-8 pages mesmerize me, that profile! It is so beautiful and as she stares into space, I stare at her. I’m wondering, too, did you paint it? I love how you put it smack dab in the center of the 2 journal pages and surrounded it with a ton of journaling and just a few images around it. Really, really love the face on the back and the colors! You could interpret her face to mean so many things.
