As I mentioned yesterday, I am debuting fifteen new stencil designs with The Crafter's Workshop this summer. Here's a peek at more of the new stencils:
You'll recall this "Butterfly" stencil:
The 6×6 version coordinates with matching stamps from Impression Obsession. However, TCW is planning to release the stencil in 12×12 as well! You can see that I used both sizes on my layout. But I'm not counting this stencil among the fifteen new ones.
However, the background of the layout (and the pattern in the butterflies) is the "Aboriginal" stencil…
…which is one of the new stencils and just might be one of my absolute favorites ever! One of the things that I love about it is that it's seamless — you can repeat it left to right and/or up and down. How cool is that? I did a seamless repeat when I made this journal cover:
It was a stencil peek and you didn't even know it! :)
The stencil I used on this layout is called "Chunky Chevron."
I think this bad boy is definitely going to be making many more appearances!
I have wanted to do a filmstrip for a really long time!
This filmstrip stencil over three filmstrips, with two different orientations (2 landscape and 1 portrait), along with numbers and the word photo in two sizes. That's a lot of content for one stencil, don't you think?!
That is the "Swirly Garden" stencil.
And it also looks awesome printed in reverse.
The first image is the 6×6 stencil and the second image is the 12×12 stencil.

Julie, Question about the film strip scrapbook page sample – I can’t quite figure out if the colour has been painted or the blank has been painted (onto the colored cardstock). Looking at the stencil, it seems you have painted the color onto black cardstock, is that right??
