Journaling reads: From the time we were little, my Mother has always teased and tortured us (which is, of course, why Matthew and I both do it too). I recently left my much loved sunglasses and earrings at her house. Before I even realized that I had left them behind these ransom photos showed up on my phone. Mom wearing my sunglasses and earrings, Mom licking my sunglasses, the teddy bear all decked out! She is such a big tease!
I liked the trompe l’oeil patterned paper, but I still wanted to give it some more dimension. So I stitched the brown and white ribbon over it…
…and added the brad, gem, and leaves.
