Layered Images: A Stamp Carving Workshop
When: February 5, 2011 • 10am-5pm (with an hour break for lunch)
Where: The Ink Pad's Classroom at the Westbeth Community Center: 55 Bethune Street (between Washington & West) • New York City

In this workshop you will learn the basics of how to carve stamps. You’ll learn how to transfer an image to your carving block, tips and tricks for masterful carving, and some helpful hints about using inks and paints with your stamps. But the real star of the parade of techniques is that you will learn how to create multiple layered stamps of the same image for a screen-printed look! This is a fun and easy class. You’ll be blown away by what you can create in just a few hours!

I am not done with it yet, as i want to add more pages into it…and some bling, etc.
