I know I've said it before, but I will say it again: I love getting comments!! I read them all and they make me smile and laugh and think. And I do visit the blog of every single person who takes the time to leave me a comment (and leaves their blog url, of course). So here's a round up of some of the fun places I've wandered recently!

Love her post about creating a monochromatic page in your art journal! In her post she talks about how creating a monochromatic page can get you going creatively. I really like the idea of mixing up my various supplies in a single color just to explore and contrast how they all fit together!
Also, check out her post on "Evidence Pages." Brilliant idea!
Amazing blog. Love her lettering and so many cool projects. Definitely worth some time with your favorite beverage and your mouse.

Read the rest of her post about things that aren't visually even. In everything that I do, I tend to push it towards asymmetry. I love the story she shares about how even babies are drawn to asymmetry!
I thought that this banner of little dresses was such a great idea! Dresses are so hot right now and you see them on tons of layouts and there are a bunch of challenges right now about making paper dresses, and this is a super fun take on the trend! I also like her hand stitching across the bottom of the layout.
Amazing doodling on this layout, right? She says the doodling was inspired by something in her art journal! Don't you love that kind of creative symbiosis?
What a fun video! (Though I do wonder where his wife and child are for the second half?) And another example of why photos and memory keeping are so important, right?
Scrapper Girlie's Inky Goodness:
Is this romantic or what? Tracy and her husband each painted one side of this canvas. What a great anniversary gift to each other! I wonder if I can convince my husband to make a little art with me…!
At first I looked at this picture and thought, "Wow! She has a ton of fabric." Then I read her post and realized Sue's brilliance. She made "mini bolts" from chipboard for all her fabric over 1/2 yard in length. It's so brilliant because you can really see the fabric, you know? I love, love, love the idea! Now I want an empty bookshelf (and an enormous pile of chipboard) so all my fabric can be that beautifully organized! (By the by, if you've never read Sue's blog, you should check it out. She is one of the most prolific quilters I know. And always makes delightful brightly colored things!)
Flowers made from old jeans and old costume jewelry! How genius is that? What a great way to turn nothing into something unique and fabulous!
Continuing in the same vein as the post above: old wool sweaters transformed into a gorgeous flower! Tami also has an important skin cancer message in her post. We all should remember to get checked!
I think that this is an advertisement for a class that Bethany is teaching. It's not totally clear from her blog post, but I love, love, love the idea of wiring some paper flowers. Many years ago I wired some Prima flowers together with a less awesome looking result, but it's something that I haven't done in a long time and this is just the kick in the pants that I need to try it again! Definitely on my "to do" list!
This brilliant woman took the birdcage tutorial I did for Live with Prima and made these *amazing* Halloween cages! I love the witch on a broomstick and the fabulous spider! Awesome, awesome, awesome!
