I was on the set of Quilting Arts TV (check out the mid-demo screenshot) representing Kaleidoscope Collections and the Kaleidoscope Kreator invented by Jeanie Sumrall-Ajero.
The Kaleidoscope Kreator is a computer program that allows you to create a ton of unique kaleidoscopes from any photos. For my first project I shared how to make these awesome fabric beads:
Remember this art journal layout?
I took a photo of the rays on the right side…
…and turned that one photo into a whole sheet of small circle kaleidoscopes!
I printed the circles onto fabric, stitched up the beads (you'll have to wait and watch the show to see the how-to), and voila! A necklace was born!
I couldn't decide whether I liked the picture on the bust or off. So that's why you're getting two images! Which do you like?
As for me, I can imagine using all sorts of artwork for this. My mind is racing with all of the cool, totally me, art I can create without having to draw it all out. Do the work once and then let the computer take over! I think I'm going to make a million of these beads! They're perfect for taking on a long plane ride!
Before I leave, though, I thought I'd share some goofy pictures of me wearing the necklace! (I took these a few weeks ago right after I made the necklace.)

ROFL Wearacil – LOVE it!! ANd that necklace is great!! Love the shot off the bust – seems much more colorful but the ones of you wearing it are the best! Are the sold color fabric beads done the same way or are they felted?
