I'm teaching some "Live with Prima" classes at CHA

If you're a retailer, you can take a free one-hour class with me, Marion Smith, Donna Downey, Cari Fennell, Sharon Laakkonen, or Trisha Ladouceur!  So much better than a regular old make-and-take, don't you think?  The classes feature all brand-new just released products and tons of fun techniques.  Here are the three I'm teaching:

Tuesday, July 27 • 11:30am – 12:30pm
"Pretty Packages"

Why not make the packaging as special as the gift? Come and see how easy it is to create these pretty packages! Along the way you’ll learn just how versatile a single stamp can be, techniques for applying perfect glitter, tips and tricks for hand cutting, and so much more! This is a great project for any holiday and the techniques can all be transferred over to your scrapbook pages!

"Sisters Layout"
With its soft and romantic tone-on-tone texture and color, this layout is sure to delight! Come and learn just how easy it is to customize Prima’s paper flowers with paint! We’ll be using packaging, playing with templates, adhering lace, and creating delicious layers of butterflies!

"Memory Box"
Not every photo needs to make it onto a scrapbook page. Why not decorate a box to keep those extra photos and bits of memorabilia in? And why not make it a beautiful box that invites people to take a peek inside? We’ll be transforming an ordinary mdf box into a colorful, textured keepsake holder with a transparent window. From painting beautiful lettering to customizing your flowers with paint, you’re sure to walk away with a new technique.

With only one hour it's hard to get too inky and painty.  Nonetheless, I managed to squeeze in some simple paint techniques that help customize Prima's beautiful products!  I'm excited to meet some store owners and pick their brains about what's selling and what's not, what the trends are, and the kinds of things their customers are asking for!

If you're headed to CHA, let me know!  I'd love to see you there!
