On July 12, I'll be showing you how to make a beautiful acrylic album to capture all those summer memories!

You can capture an entire summer’s worth of memories in this
two-hour class!  Whether you want
to put together an album celebrating summer 2009 or get a head start on
creating summer 2010’s album, this class is sure to delight!  You’ll learn how to decorate an acrylic
album with patterned paper, paint, and a little bit of imagination!  Even if you think you can’t draw, learn
how easy it is to make a dramatic artistic statement with this lovely album!

I love the little butterfly tabs on the album!  But of course, I am obsessed with all things butterfly!  If you'd like to know how I made this album and hear me chat a little bit about my mini album process, please come to the live class on July 12 at 5pm PST/8pm EST

You can buy a kit here.

Thanks for stopping by!

  • julie!! i have really exciting news. i spent the weekend in new york visiting family, and my mom and i found time to take a class through the ink pad on sunday. firstly, when we got there, a painting that looked like yours was hanging! (the girl said it was a class that you taught but that someone else made the painting). it was beautful! then, we got a brochure with upcoming classes and your name was right there in bold .. an all day art journaling class… i WISH! THEN… i opened the cover to artful blogging (i think) and first page was a prima ad where i’m sure they used your painting. how cool did i feel that my friend julie is ALL over NYC!! 🙂 🙂
i thought you might enjoy that story.
    i miss you!
    love, amy.

  • This is awesome!
I have a question – I would like to know what kind of paint brush you use that allows you to get such small writing, with that much control. The ones I have flop all over the place. I would love to know specifics, because I know nothing about paint brushes – would like to be able to just go to the art store and say “I need one of these” Hahah!
I will definitely watch this class!
