julie!! i have really exciting news. i spent the weekend in new york visiting family, and my mom and i found time to take a class through the ink pad on sunday. firstly, when we got there, a painting that looked like yours was hanging! (the girl said it was a class that you taught but that someone else made the painting). it was beautful! then, we got a brochure with upcoming classes and your name was right there in bold .. an all day art journaling class… i WISH! THEN… i opened the cover to artful blogging (i think) and first page was a prima ad where i’m sure they used your painting. how cool did i feel that my friend julie is ALL over NYC!! 🙂 🙂

I have a question – I would like to know what kind of paint brush you use that allows you to get such small writing, with that much control. The ones I have flop all over the place. I would love to know specifics, because I know nothing about paint brushes – would like to be able to just go to the art store and say “I need one of these” Hahah!
