I sent my Dad a big box of art for Father's Day. I like to make gifts but I'm terrible about mailing them. Terrible, I tell you. So I sent him his Christmas gift (2009 Christmas), birthday gift (from May 2010) and Father's Day gift all together. Ooooops! They've just been sitting here staring at me for months.
Christmas….
I made an enormous (biggest I've ever made at 18×24) painting:
You may remember this layout:
Well, I popped it into a shadow box and wrapped it up…
…into a very pretty package (which as been sitting in my closet for many months).
Father's Day….
The gift was this little 4×6 art:
I wrapped it up in a doily, some ribbon, and a tag I cut from some Prima paper.
And I made a very graphic card which has a totally different style than the gift:
