I'm so, so, so excited to share my next Live With Prima project with you!
One of the questions I hear all the time is, "Where do you store your mini albums?"
I like to have people look through my little books, but they look so messy just sitting out. And now I have an awesome solution for you:
It's a pretty basket to store all of your mini albums! In the photo above you can see mine in situ, on the coffee table in my living room.
Look how many albums I've got in here and there's still room for more!
I've decorated the front…
…and the back…
…and even the sides are pretty good looking:
You can see just a bit of purple poking through in the picture above. The insides are lined with several beautiful purple papers.
Here's the official class description:
Decorate a
beautiful container to hold all of those lovely mini books you’ve made. Place in on your coffee table or even
your kitchen counter in order to invite family and visitors to take a peek through
your basket of stories! We will
decorate the outside and inside of the basket with patterned paper, page
pebbles, flowers, and paint. And
as a bonus, Julie will show you how to make an adorable mini album out of a
single sheet of patterned paper!

Wait until you see how I did the closure. It's so cool and so easy!
If you order the kit, you get the basket (it's made from sturdy mdf and really such a great shape), all the papers, flowers, and page pebbles to decorate it, plus the paper and ribbon and such to make the little mini album too!

ETA: My cousin just came over and she saw this basket of minis on my coffee table and asked if she could peek. She sat for about half-an-hour just flipping through all of them. Before this I don't think anybody had even glanced at them in years because they were sitting on my shelf. Awesome!

Really great idea. I think more people would like to do minis if they had a place other than the drawer to show them off!
