Hello, hello, hello!  Check out this week's adorable sketch for Pencil Lines:

Pl189
And here is my interpretation of it:

JustAnotherReason-sm
This is one of those layouts that just got worked to death, you know?  So I ended up cutting up the original layout and putting the bits and pieces of it back to together.  And I'm rather pleased with the outcome.  By the way, this is not something I often do, but it's very therapeutic to hack into your layout.  Try it sometime!

Here are the details:

I cut out the borders of two journaling cards, and then stitched them together to frame my photo.

This little edge detail is made up of scraps of a painting from the original layout that I hacked apart.  Plus a paper ruffle.  I think I love paper ruffles.  I can't get away from them.  They add dimension and visual texture and I just adore them!

I cut the title out of the heart and then colored it with spray ink (the screen printing on the paper acts as a resist) and replaced it into the heart.

Check out the other girls' versions of the sketch here.

PS: Check out Valerie's great post about the Distress Ink class she took with me at The Ink Pad!

PPS: I'm the "Guest Gutter Girl" over at the Gutter Girlz challenge blog.  Sadly, due to scheduling, I didn't manage to play along with the prompt, but check out the blog.  Lots of mojo-inspiring over there!

Thanks for stopping by!
