I've got some new classes at the Ink Pad:

ClassAd
Distress Ink Exploration: March 26, 2010 • 7:15-9:15pm

Ranger Distress Ink is more than just ink to stamp
with.   Come and learn how to
push your ink pads to reach their potential!  I will share a ton of fabulous techniques with you and you
will leave the class with a collection of beautiful tags.  (I've heard that this one might be full already, so if you want in, be sure to call sooner rather than later.)

Classad

Creative Masking and Stenciling: April 17, 2010 • 10am – 12:30pm

In this hands-on class, we’ll be mixing up commercial
stencils and masks with ones we cut ourselves!  Whether you’re a newbie or an expert, there will be plenty
to learn and lots of fun to be had playing with what you see and what you
don’t!

Classad
Crafty Jewelry: April 17, 2010 • 1:30pm – 5pm

We’ll be mixing metal, acrylic, stamps, ink, UTEE, and lots more to create cool looking jewelry. You don’t need any jewelry making experience to come and play. You’ll leave wearing several new pieces of art made by you!

If you'd like to sign up for any of these classes, contact the Ink Pad directly at 212.463.9876.

I'm also teaching a slew of new classes at The City Quilter, but I don't think you sign up yet.  I'll be sure to post when you can!  You can see the dates in the sidebar to the left.

Finally, I wanted to share two stamps that came into my possession yesterday.  The first one I bought at the Ink Pad when I dropped off my class samples.

And the second one arrived in the mail as a glorious surprise from a lovely and generous blog reader named Ligia Avila.  And it is…(drum roll please)…a milk can!!!!

I am so thrilled and delighted!  I love the hand drawn look of this stamp!  And after spending years searching for a milk can stamp, I am totally thrilled to now be in possession of TWO of them!  Yay!  And thank you so very much, Ligia!  I love it!

And thank you for stopping by!

  • Okay you have to make those classes into online ones so I can take them : )
I am so sad that I don’t live closer so I can take all of your fabulous classes.
BTW, when can we view your class from Prima that you did Monday. I keep checking back to see if I can watch it (since I only caught the last 10 minutes).

  • *sigh* I so wish I lived in New York! Your class last fall just totally inspired me — and I have been having the BEST time creating ever since. I had really run up against a creative block…and your paint and ink class busted that block right up! Thank you again!
