First up, a brief correction. Margie Romney-Astley's new product line is called "The Girls' Paperie" and her kit club is called "The Girls' Loft."
Now on to the business of the show!
Can you believe that we're still on day one? I took almost 700 photos on the first day of CHA. Since I knew that I'd be moored to the Sakura booth for days 2 and 3, I wanted to cover as much of the show as possible.
Maya Road had some fun new things and some old favorites as well. I love their canvas albums! (There was quite a bit of canvas around the show. That was definitely a trend – fabric, sewing supplies, etc.)
Nat, who is on the Tattered Angels team, took me for a tour through their booth. They have new products from Heidi Swapp. And three new types of colorants: glaze and glam and chalkboard. So there was lots to see!
I looped back to the Ranger booth to take some more Melt Art Designer Challenge photos and ran into Sally Lynn MacDonald and boy-oh-boy is she tall! I'm 5'8", but she is really tall. And super nice to boot! I had one of those ridiculous fangirl moments where I couldn't believe she actually knew who the heck I was!

I had to hit up American Crafts to see the new Dear Lizzy line. There has been so much buzz around this line and I wanted to see it for myself.
Hilariously, I realize now that I mostly took photos of the projects and not of the products! Ah well.
Graphic 45 had a bigger booth than usual. But still lots and lots of treasures to be found.
One of my favorite things from the show was the burlap canvases from Canvas Corp.
They had other fun fabric products as well….
Crafter's Workshop had some *amazing* stencils which I must have!
I caught up with the very talented Charity Hassel at the October Afternoon booth. Here's a pic I snapped of her (on the right) and Lucy Edson:
