Preparing for this class has really forced me to stop and think about how I create.  And it turns out, I'm a layers kind of girl.  I often use a combination of several techniques at once.  So, it has been very interesting to break things down into simple teachable steps.

Based outside of Boston, Julie Fei-Fan Balzer is a painter, printmaker, and collage artist who constructs vibrant compositions.
